I am by no means a beauty guru. When I was young I wanted to become a makeup artist, and so quickly into my journey did I realize that was not my calling. Despite my heartbreaking realization (lol) I do have some experience in my local drugstore testing tons of makeup and I have stumbled into, what I believe, some of the best products the drugstore has to o!er. Great news – there is a ton! I put together some of my favorites that are either go-to’s year round or products that are perfect for the summer time approaching!

#1. L’Oreal True Match Mineral Foundation - $10.49

This foundation has been my holy grail since I was 14 years old. I could not rave enough about this. This powder foundation is special because it is unnoticeable while still giving medium coverage. Your skin appears flawless, and it takes 20 seconds to apply. No beauty blender, and no splotchy, heavy applications. Worth the drugstore dollar splurge.

#2. Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil - $4.89

I would say this brow pencil is a great dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz at a fraction of the price. There are quite a few shades available and it looks natural when applied!

#3. L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes - $6.99

My best friend has used this mascara as long as I can remember. I always wondered why she applied white mascara onto her lashes first. Turns out, it’s a great primer. The primer ensures the mascara doesn’t flake throughout the day, and makes removal SO easy.

#4. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Cottage Cheese) - $2.25

Definitely the best, most pigmented inner corner highlight I have been able to find at the drugstore. It’s so easy to apply and I like to use an eyeshadow brush to blend it out. Once you get over the odd name, it’s perfect to add brightness to your face for summer!

#5. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen - $7.99

This eyeliner reminds me of the Kat Von D Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner which I love. I recommend eye pens over liquid liners because they allow much more flexibility if you aren’t a master at eyeliner.

#6. Aquaphor Advanced Therapy

This product is definitely not glamorous, but such an essential. Coming out of winter, my skin is particularly dry and Aquaphor is one of the best products for dry skin. I apply it to my lips every morning and night and it has worked the best for me! Plus, it’s so cheap.

#7. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - $6.29

I would argue this drugstore product is one of the most widely appreciated. The applicator is soft and spongey, and the product comes in tons of shades. Plus, the coverage is really great for dark circles. I recommend picking a shade slightly lighter than your skin to brighten your under-eyes.

#8. CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows (Shimmering Sands) - $5.99

I rarely wear eyeshadow, but when I do I gravitate toward warm, neutral colors. As you can tell from the photo, I have had this product for a long time. These palettes are cheap and last a long time. Perfect colors for a complete shadow look.

#9. Rimmel London Exaggerate Lip Liner (Innocent) - $4.54

I personally do not wear lip colors often, I prefer glossy lip balms. I was searching the drugstore for something that suited my taste, and I found this perfect lip liner. It accentuates my natural color without drying out my lips. I love to pair it with a clear moisturizing lip balm.
